About the Mayhaw Music Festival 5K
The course runs at Honey Bee Farms and earns the cross country label. It moves through open fields, stretches of woods, farmland, and a lake crossing. The terrain is varied and natural, surrounded by countryside and springs. This is not a road race; expect soft and uneven ground underfoot.
The race shares the day with a bluegrass music festival on the same property, and runners get into the festival free with proof of participation. Music carries into the afternoon and well into the evening, so there is plenty of reason to stick around after you finish.
