About the May The Course Be With You 5K
The course starts and finishes at the lake's paddle boat launch, so water stays close for most of the run. It is a fundraiser for a local school's eighth-grade trip, which gives the morning a purpose beyond the finish line. Expect a modest field with a mix of people who know each other.
Bib pickup runs the evening before at Hoodoo, with another pickup window at Chinook Charter the following afternoon. Race-morning pickup is also available at Tanana Lakes before the start.
