About the Mattawan Wildcat Road & Trail 5K

The course runs through a school campus, mixing paved roads and pathways with patches of grass and trail-style terrain. This year's route passes through a newly built track and stadium complex mid-race, which is a different shape than the traditional version. Expect mostly pavement with occasional softer ground underfoot. The course is closed to dogs.

Packet pickup and the start are both at the high school football and track stadium. The organizers strongly encourage picking up your packet the evening before, which keeps race-morning lines short. Food and drinks are available after you finish.
