The course winds through the vineyards at Masaryk Winery, mostly on grass and dirt paths between the vines. The organizers are upfront that this is not a course you run for a personal best. It is a working winery, so the surroundings are the point, and the route reflects that.
Packet pickup is race morning only, opening an hour before the start, so there is no need to come out the day before. After finishing, there is a pour of wine waiting at the end.
