About the 2027 Maryland Indoor 5k and Family Fun Run

The course runs entirely inside Arundel Mills mall, before it opens to shoppers. Runners loop the mall's interior corridor several times, passing storefronts and food court seating along the way. The surface is flat and hard underfoot. There are a couple of small ramps in spots, and the corridors get tight in sections, so this is more of a novelty course than a fast one.

The race starts and finishes in the food court, which gives you tables and chairs to stash your gear. Packet pickup happens on-site before the start waves begin. Parking is free in the casino garage nearby, with the food court entrance recommended. After finishing, there are fitness demos and recovery stretches. This is a cupless race, so bring a water bottle with a lid.
