Bar Harbor, ME
The course follows the Shore Path along the coastline, then swings through downtown Bar Harbor before finishing at a local pizza spot. The path section is newly rebuilt, so the footing is clean. Dogs on leash are welcome, which changes the feel of the whole field.
Check-in is race morning, so there is no separate packet pickup trip to make. The finish at Pat's Pizza is the real draw afterward, with free pizza waiting when you are done.
