About the Marietta Shamrock Shuffle 5K

The Shamrock Shuffle starts and finishes on Marietta Square, and the route qualifies as an AJC Peachtree Road Race qualifier. St. Patrick's Day costume contests are part of the morning, with prizes for the best leprechaun turnout. A stretch in the middle of the course is set aside as a memorial section, where runners celebrate loved ones with chants and cheers as they pass.

Advance packet pickup is at a community center in Marietta the evening before the race, with race-morning pickup also available. Downtown Marietta has several parking options; an interactive map on the city's website shows current availability. Awards go out shortly after the race closes, but you need to be present to claim one.
