About the Maricopa Memorial Day 5K
The course runs through Copper Sky Regional Park, starting and finishing under a large ramada beside the park's lake. It is a chip-timed event with age group and team awards, so there is a competitive thread running through the morning alongside people who are just out for a holiday weekend run.
Packet pickup opens early on race morning at the park itself, so there is no need to make a separate trip the day before. A colors presentation kicks things off before the start, and snacks and drinks are available after you finish.
