About the Mari Vineyards Wine Run 5k
The course runs through vineyard rows and open grass at Mari Vineyards, on a peninsula just north of Traverse City. The footing is uneven in spots, cross-country style, and the route loops through the vines a couple of times. It is not a course for chasing a fast time; it is a course where the surroundings do most of the work.
Packet pickup is race morning only, so plan to arrive well before your wave. The start and finish are both at the winery, and there is a pour of wine waiting at the end.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 25, 2026.
