About the March For The Fallen
The courses sit on the training grounds of Fort Indiantown Gap, an active military installation. The longer routes leave the valley floor and climb hard onto Second Mountain, covering dirt and gravel trails alongside stretches of asphalt road. The terrain is genuinely demanding, with steep sections on the mountain and rolling ground throughout. Heavy division participants carry a loaded ruck the entire way.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a clubhouse on the installation, with race-morning pickup available as well. A valid ID is required to enter the base. Spectators are welcome but are kept to that same clubhouse area rather than along the route itself.
