About the Maple Rapids 5K Color Run
The route passes through color stations where volunteers dust runners with natural corn starch powder in bright dyes. It is a color run, so expect to arrive clean and leave covered. A wash-off station is set up at the end. The money raised goes toward the local Lamplighter Festival.
Registration opens at a park on the corner of Main Street and Poplar Street before the start. Music and yard games run in the social district before and after, and there is a free photo opportunity while you are still colorful.
