About the Manitou 5K
The course runs along a creek through Manitou Springs, past murals, paintings, and sculptures on the way. It starts and finishes in a park, and the path stays mostly flat the whole way through. The art along the route gives it a character you do not get on most courses, and the creek keeps you company for much of the run.
The start area is in Fields Park, with bib pickup there on race morning or the evening before. Parking options spread out across the surrounding streets and lots, with shuttle service running from pay lots into the park. Post-race, there is coffee, quesadillas, and snacks from a couple of local vendors near the finish.
