About the Manatee Hustle 5K
The Manatee Hustle starts and finishes at First Baptist Indialantic, close to the beach, and has the casual beach-town feel you would expect from a morning near the coast. The course itself is a 5K, so it moves quickly, and the crowd at the finish tends to be a mix of people who ran, walked, and cheered from the sidelines.
Packet pickup is available the evening before at a local running store in Melbourne. On race morning, registration and pickup open early at the church before the start. After the race, there are snacks, yard games, and a DJ at the finish area, along with a coffee truck. There is also a name-the-manatee contest with a prize, which is exactly what it sounds like.
