About the M1LE Nation Challenge
This is a team mile race held on a track at a university campus, run under the lights in the evening. Teams of four each send one runner, and the combined times are scored cross-country style, so every leg matters. There are waves for kids, masters, youth age groups, and elites, which means the field ranges from elementary schoolers to serious competitive runners.
A food truck is on site for spectators, and a light brunch is available for runners after the race. Post-race massage is also offered. A training program covering several weeks leading up to race day is included with registration, sent by email.

The M1LE Nation Challenge has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Sep 10, 2026.
