About the M Family Foundation's 2027 Superhero Race Against Cancer 5K
The course runs through Celebration Lakeside Park, a planned community with shaded paths and water views. The route is flat and the crowd leans heavily toward families, many of them dressed as superheroes. The race raises money for families dealing with ovarian cancer and pediatric brain cancers, so the atmosphere carries some weight alongside the costumes.
Packet pickup runs the day before at a building near the Celebration golf course, with race-morning pickup opening well before the start. Post-race, there is a breakfast and an awards ceremony on site.
