About the Lyman Orchards Pie Run

The course starts on orchard property and heads out onto surrounding roads through hilly terrain. Both distance options share the same opening stretch before splitting, with the longer route winding deeper into the neighborhood on a series of turns through roads with names like Power Hill and Long Hill, which give a fair sense of what the legs are in for. The shorter option turns back sooner.

There is a kids fun run before the main race, and post-race refreshments are available at the finish area on the orchard grounds. The race benefits a veterans organization, and the event is put on by a local running club based in the area.
