About the Lutzie 43 Road Race

The course starts and finishes on the yard line of a high school football field, which gives the morning an unusual feel before you even start running. From there the route moves through the neighborhoods adjacent to the school, rolling up and down through residential streets before bringing you back to the stadium. There is a kids run before the main race kicks off.

Parking is at the high school, with the stadium lot off Steinhauer Road filling first and overflow along the main entrance on Shallowford Road. Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local Italian restaurant a few miles away, and race-morning registration opens on the field itself a little before the start.
