About the Lucky Paws Animal Assistance Annual "Wag through the Pines" Doggie Walk/Run
The route goes through the vineyards at White Horse Winery, so the ground is uneven in places and the scenery is more agricultural than park trail. Dogs must stay leashed the whole way, and retractable leashes are not permitted. There are two distance options, a shorter walk and a longer walk or run, both through the same vineyard terrain.
After the route, the winery courtyard opens up for hanging out with your dog, live music, vendor tables, and a food truck. The event benefits animal welfare, and there is a donation bin for unopened pet food going to a local food pantry. Check-in closes before the start, so arriving early matters.
