About the Luau Run Half Marathon -10K - 5K
The course follows a pair of paved trails and stays flat the whole way, starting and finishing at the same park. The surroundings feel open rather than urban. It is an evening race, so the light is softer and the heat has started to ease by the time most runners finish.
The finish area leans hard into the Hawaiian theme, with hula dancers and fire dancers performing as runners come in. A plated dinner of pork and rice follows, served at tables with an awards ceremony. Packet pickup is offered the afternoon of the race at the Regional Pavilion, not far from the start.
