About the LSSC Monster Dash

The course runs alongside Silver Lake, so there is water in view for much of the run. Costumes are encouraged, and enough people show up in them that it genuinely changes the atmosphere. Age group results are announced, so there is real timing behind the costume-friendly spirit. Proceeds go toward scholarships at the college that hosts the event.

Packet pickup happens race morning at the athletic field near the gym, so you can arrive, grab your bib, and head to the start without much walking around.
