About the 2026 Loveland Turkey Trot
The course runs through Boyd Lake State Park on Thanksgiving morning, so you are on trail the whole way, with the lake nearby and the kind of open air that feels earned before a holiday meal. Strollers and dogs are welcome on course, which shapes the crowd: plenty of families moving at their own pace alongside people actually racing.
The start and finish are both in the hospital campus parking lot, where food trucks and vendor booths set up before and after the run. Packet pickup is available the weekend before, the evening a few days prior, and again on race morning near the finish line.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a big field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The 2026 Loveland Turkey Trot has been held every year since at least 2022. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
