About the Love Your Neighbor 5K
The course winds through a tiny home village on the east side of Austin, the kind of neighborhood where people actually live. The surroundings are residential and human-scale, so you are running past front porches and small yards rather than through a park or along a road.
Packet pickup is at the welcome center on the morning of the race. After the run, there are food trucks, face painting, and balloon artists on site, and walking tours of the village run for a couple of hours once the race wraps up.
