About the Love to Run St. Charles - 5K
The course runs along the Katy Trail, through Frontier Park, and alongside the Missouri River, so there is water in view for a good stretch of the route. A short shaded trail section breaks up the pavement. The terrain is flat throughout, which makes it a decent option for anyone chasing a faster time.
After the finish, the party stays in Frontier Park, with music and refreshments set up near the river. The post-race scene is worth sticking around for, and the historic downtown area of Saint Charles is right there if you want to wander before heading home.
