About the 2027 Love Like Cam 5k Color Run
This is a color run, meaning volunteers dust you with powder as you go, so you finish looking nothing like you started. The course has no timing chips, and awards go to the first finishers across the line. The whole event raises scholarship money through a foundation created in memory of a young local woman named Camden Dedeaux.
There is a finish line party after the run, and a photo station where you can set the color into your clothes as a keepsake. A shorter fun run runs alongside the main course, so younger kids can take part too. The foundation's roots in Sumrall give the morning real local weight.
