About the 11th Annual Love & Lean Walk/Run for Mental Health
The route runs mostly on sidewalks and bike paths, with a stretch through wetlands trails mixed in. Along the way, memorial pictures of loved ones line the course, alongside sidewalk chalk art and encouraging signs. A middle school band plays near the finish. The whole event is built around mental health awareness, inspired by the loss of a Zeeland student, and that purpose is visible throughout the morning.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a local church, with race-morning check-in available at Zeeland High School Stadium for those who cannot make it the night before. That stadium lot is also the gathering point before the start. Local businesses donate gifts for a drawing held on event day, with tickets available at check-in.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2026 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.
