About the Lobo Cancer Challenge
The run starts and finishes inside the football stadium that serves as home field for the UNM Lobos, which gives the morning an unusual setting. The route heads out through the surrounding area and returns to the stadium, where the field itself becomes a gathering space with sponsor booths, games, and food and drinks after you finish. Strollers are welcome, and the course is timed with a chip bib.
Bib pickup runs the evening before the event at the stadium, with parking in the west lot and the pickup tent near the south corner of that lot. There is also a brief window to pick up on race morning, though the organizers are clear that lines can be long. The bike support partner is on hand at the south entrance both evenings and early morning.
