About the LLCA Raptor 5K

The race starts behind a school gymnasium, which the school calls the Raptor Center, and the proceeds go toward athletics and recreation equipment for the school. The course itself is a standard road distance, and the setting is Lake Lure, a small mountain town with the kind of terrain that gives even a short run some character.
