About the Live Like Scott Event
The run here is a fun run through Hampden Memorial Park, open to anyone moving under their own power, whether that means running, walking, or pushing a stroller. The course is unhurried by design, and the whole event surrounds it with an arts and crafts show, a silent auction, a spray park, and an ice cream truck. Pizza comes out at lunch.
The park also hosts a separate bike ride that morning, so the grounds are active well before the run gets going. The event honors Scott Godon-Decoteau, and proceeds flow into a donor-advised fund in his name through a local community foundation. Kids under a certain age get in free.
