About the Live Like Cameron Pajama 5K - Dreaming of a Cure
The course runs laps around Central Park at Town Center, and it is untimed, so the pace is entirely yours. People show up in pajamas, which makes the morning look unlike most races you have probably run. The event raises money for local childhood cancer families, and that purpose is present throughout.
Breakfast is available at the finish area, and there is a raffle and a best-dressed pajama contest on site. Participants can also bring new blankets or pajamas to donate, which go directly to pediatric oncology patients. Packet pickup and check-in happen on race morning before the start.
