About the Live Free Animal Rescue Franken Paws 5K / Walk
This is a Halloween-themed fun run in Londonderry that doubles as a fundraiser for a dog rescue organization focused on high-risk animals from southern states. Costumes are encouraged for both runners and their dogs, and there are prizes for the best-dressed pairs. The course is a 5K, so expect a short out-and-back or loop on local roads or paths.
Sam Adams beer is available at the finish, and the post-race scene includes raffles and apparel for sale. The event draws a crowd that leans more dog lover than competitive runner, and the atmosphere reflects that.
