About the Little Rooster Run

The course runs through the Gallatin County Fairgrounds and Park, a working fairgrounds in a small rural farming town. Trail terrain, a kids' fun run option, and a nighttime "last runner standing" ultra all share the same event, so the evening has a different feel than a typical weekend road race. The short trail race goes off while there is still some daylight; the ultra runs through the night.

Parking is free and on-site at the fairgrounds. Attendants direct traffic in and out, and a donation box near registration helps offset the facility costs. The grounds are easy to reach from several directions, so getting in and out is straightforward.
