About the Little Neck Turkey Trot and Gobble Wobble
The course follows a path along Little Neck Road, out and back, with traffic still moving on the roads around you. Two distance options, short and long, both start and finish at the club. Roads stay open, so you stay alert, but the pace is unhurried and the crowd skews toward families out for a Thanksgiving morning stretch.
After the run, Dunkin' Donuts sets up coffee and donuts at the club, and people tend to linger. The organizers also collect donated sweatshirts and sweatpants for a local housing resource center, so it is worth bringing something if you have it.
