About the Little Colorado River Gorge Half Marathon & 10K
This race runs through a Navajo tribal park along the rim of the Little Colorado River Gorge, out on a mix of dirt roads, double-track, and singletrack trail. The terrain is rocky and genuinely demanding in stretches, and there are sheer drop-offs at a couple of points that deserve real attention. This is trail running, not a road race dressed up in scenery, and the views earn that distinction.
Packet pickup and on-site registration both happen at the start line on race morning, so there is no separate trip the day before. Parking is available at the park itself, and there are permanent restrooms on site. Arts and crafts vendors are set up at the park as well.
