About the Lisa Napoletano Running with the Angels 5K / 1M Races
The race starts behind the Jim Thorpe Train Station and heads out onto the Lehigh Gorge Trail, an out-and-back along the D&L Trail. The trail surface is smooth and runs through the gorge, so the scenery does most of the talking. A shorter out-and-back option runs the same stretch for younger runners and those doing the fun run. There is also an untimed walk on the same course.
The start area is directly behind the train station, across from Myst. Street parking exists in town but can thin out quickly on race morning. Paid parking at the train station lot is the more reliable option.
