About the Lions on the Run 5K
This race is tied to a youth running camp at a school campus, and the finish line has the feel of a season-ending celebration. Students from the camp cross alongside families and neighbors, so the energy at the finish leans more toward cheering than competing. The course runs on and around the campus grounds.
Packet pickup runs the evening before the race at a running shop in a nearby town, with an additional window the morning of at the campus itself. The school's performance hall also hosts a pickup window the day before. Race morning pickup is available for those who need it.
