About the Lion Run and Family Fun

The course runs out and back along a street near Centennial Park, which also serves as the start and finish. It is flat throughout, so there are no surprises underfoot. The park setting keeps things open and easy to navigate, and the out-and-back shape means you can see other runners heading the opposite direction during the race.

Packet pickup and race-day registration both happen at the park on the morning of the event, so there is no separate trip the day before. After finishing, a chicken roast gets going nearby, which gives the whole morning a bit of a neighborhood cookout feel.
