About the Lincoln Days Railsplitter 5K and 10K

The shorter distance is an out-and-back through downtown Hodgenville, while the longer option loops out to Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park, passing a memorial along the way. Both routes run on open roads with volunteers stationed throughout. The courses are cupless, so the longer-distance runners have a refill station on course, and shorter-distance runners are expected to carry their own water.

Packet pickup opens race morning at the start area. After you finish, the surrounding Lincoln Days festival fills downtown with live music and food vendors, so there is reason to stick around.
