About the Light The Darkness 5K & 1 Mile Glow Run
This is a glow run held at Saint Ferdinand Park, tied to suicide prevention awareness. Participants wear light-up gear and are encouraged to get creative with the theme. The course offers a longer and a shorter option, both open to runners and walkers. Extra glow items are available for purchase at the event.
Packet pickup runs the two evenings before the race at the James J. Eagan Community Center. Day-of pickup opens at Pavilion four, toward the back of the park near the sand volleyball courts, before the start.
