About the LifeWise 5K for Allen County

The course runs through the village of Elida on flat roads, starting and finishing near the Sunnydale House beside the elementary school. Volunteers are posted along the way. There is also a shorter kids' fun run on the same morning, so the start area draws families with children of all ages alongside adult runners.

The main parking lot between the school and the Sunnydale House closes before the fun run starts, but additional lots west of the elementary and at the middle school stay open. After finishing, there are hotdogs, fruit, and water at the finish area, and a prize drawing follows once most runners are done.
