About the Liberty Spirit 3 Miler
The course winds through town and around a park, starting and finishing near a splash pad. It is part of a local race series, and the Labor Day Festival is going on around you as you run, so there is already a crowd and some noise before you even cross the start line.
Registration is available on race morning, so you do not have to commit far in advance. The start area near the splash pad is easy to find and gives you a clear landmark for meeting up with people after you finish.
