About the Lemont Frigid 5K
The course runs through Centennial Park, so expect a park setting rather than roads. The race goes off in winter conditions, whatever the weather brings, and the organizer leans into the season: ugly sweaters and holiday gear are part of the scene. A hot chocolate bar and awards are waiting at the finish.
Packet pickup and the pre-race wait happen inside a fitness and aquatic complex near the start, which means you have a warm place to stand before the gun. Pets and strollers are not permitted on the course.
