This race honors Captain Andrew Allman, an Army veteran who was diagnosed with stage four cancer linked to burn pit exposure during his deployment. During treatment, he pushed himself to walk alongside his wife despite being bedridden at diagnosis. The course reflects that spirit: a distance meant to echo those walks he fought so hard to take.
