About the Leftover Turkey Trot
The course starts and finishes at Town Hall, heading out on a flat stretch before moving into residential streets with rolling hills, then returning through downtown. It is a point-to-point shape that brings you back through the middle of town, so there is street-level activity around you near the end.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before the race and again in the hour or so before the start on race morning, both at the Town Hall start area. The race benefits the local VFW post, and participants are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy as an informal donation.

The Leftover Turkey Trot has been held every year since at least 2022. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 18, 2026.
