About the LARC in the Park 5K Run/Walk

The course runs through Rockland Lake State Park, a setting that puts you alongside the lake with open sky above and a paved path underfoot. The terrain is flat, the surroundings are quiet for a race morning, and younger kids have their own short dash before the main event gets going.

The park's north entrance leads to the first parking lot, which is where everything is centered. Registration opens race morning, so late deciders can still get in. An awards ceremony follows the finish, with age group and overall places recognized.
