The Souper Run has been going in Laona for decades, and it still charges nothing to enter. Instead, runners are encouraged to find sponsors before race day, with donations going to the local rescue squad. Several distance options cover a range of ages, from young kids up through adults running the longer course. Registration stays open right up until the morning of the race.
