About the 9th Annual Lakeside 5K and Family Fun Run and Trunk or Treat
The race takes place at Lakeside Village and benefits Ally's Wish, a local nonprofit that grants last wishes to terminally ill mothers. Halloween falls on race day, and the costume theme runs deep, with dress-up and dog costume contests alongside a trunk-or-treat after the run. The course is in the village itself, so the surroundings are polished and walkable.
Packet pickup is the evening before at a nearby running store, with race-morning pickup available as well. Parking is spread across several lots around Lakeside Village, and the organizers share a map marking which areas are open to runners.
