About the 42nd Annual Lake Waramaug Polar Bear Run
The course follows the perimeter of Lake Waramaug, a full loop on a winter morning with water visible for most of the route. The terrain is generally flat along the lakeshore, with the bare trees and cold air giving it a distinctly seasonal feel. The race benefits Guiding Eyes for the Blind, and a large volunteer crew keeps things moving.
