About the Lake Region Run
The Lake Region Run moves through the Fergus Falls area and, by the organizer's own description, has some hills to work through. It draws a wide range of participants, from people out for a morning walk to runners chasing age-group awards, and the course is scenic enough that the organizer keeps leaning on that point.
Packet pickup runs both the evening before and on race morning, so you have options either way. Proceeds from the race go to a local cancer care and research center, which gives the post-finish atmosphere a bit of weight beyond the usual crowd.
