About the Lake Eufaula Out of the Darkness 5k Walk & Run
This race is part of a national suicide prevention movement, so the atmosphere carries real weight alongside the running. It is held at Eufaula Cove Pavilion, right on the lake, and starts in the early evening, so you get water views and softer light as you run. The course is a timed 5k, with a separate untimed walk option for those who want it.
