About the Lake Como Day 5k
The course runs through the streets of Lake Como and loops around the lake itself, so there is actual water to look at while you are moving. It is a road race put on by a local running club in partnership with the borough, which gives it the feel of a neighborhood event rather than a commercial production. The proceeds go toward youth recreation programs in town.
Everything on race morning happens at Joe's Surf Shack, which serves as the start, the bib pickup spot, and the post-race gathering place. The award ceremony follows the finish, also at Joe's, so there is no reason to wander far. A post-race party rounds out the morning there.

The Lake Como Day 5k has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
